Bethenny Frankel, the 55-year-old reality TV star, is offering unfiltered dating advice for women, urging them to stop being 'snowflakes' and to share potential partners with friends rather than gatekeeping. In an interview with Daily Mail, Frankel emphasized the importance of alignment in relationships and criticized women for being overly competitive about men.
Dating Advice: Stop Gatekeeping
'It's about alignment and being very specific about how you live [and] how you flow, and women should not be as competitive about men as they are because the same person would not be for any of us,' Frankel said. She added, 'For nuances, how many kids do they have? What age are they? What religion are they? Are they very this? People are like snowflakes, so you really do have to find the right alignment, not just how tall they are. And you got to wait. You have to fish.'
Frankel continued, 'If someone's not right for you, but they're a good person, you should immediately connect them with someone else. Women gate keep. Move on dot com.'
Personal Dating Experience
The Skinnygirl entrepreneur has extensive dating experience. She married Jason Hoppy in 2010, separated in 2012, and finalized their divorce in 2021 after a lengthy custody and financial battle. She later dated banker Dennis Shields, who died in 2018, and real estate developer Paul Bernon, with whom she split in 2024. Currently, she is dating Miami-based investment banker Shane L. Campbell, 48.
Launch of The Core
In 2025, Frankel launched The Core, a matchmaking service designed to help people find intentional relationships. Memberships range from $50 to $1,200, with an intense invite-only screening process. Frankel, who declined to discuss her own use of the service, said, 'It is a business. I'm finding that it's been an amazing space to get into.'
Life in Miami
Since moving to Miami from the Hamptons in 2025, Frankel has embraced beach life. 'I'm a very serious beach person,' she said. 'I take a beach walk almost every day. I like to be near the ocean. ... I just feel at home. ... Dating is fun there. I'm really happy and my daughter's happy.'
Reunion with Friends
Despite not joining The Golden Life on E! with former co-stars Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, Frankel reunited with them in Paris for RoC Skincare's Reverse the Clock by 10 Years campaign. She described the reunion as 'amazing clickbait' that 'tortures' the audience, adding, 'It's good for all of us to have goals.'
