Big Brother star Lily Benson, 21, has treated herself to a night at The Savoy just days after she claimed she was being made homeless. The reality star, who shot to fame on the 2024 series of ITV2's Big Brother, has kept fans updated on her life since leaving the house.
Eviction and Packing Chaos
Earlier this week, Lily told followers she was being evicted from her flat, with Sunday as moving-out day. However, she left packing to the last minute after attending a Harry Styles gig. In an Instagram video, she looked panicked as she wheeled belongings out, captioning: "Note to self. Don't leave moving to the last day."
Drunken Booking at The Savoy
In a subsequent update, Lily revealed she had booked herself into The Savoy, writing: "My temporary housing accommodation." She thanked a doorman for help with luggage and added: "I booked this drunk last night." She later posted a photo in the hotel's robe and slippers. Kerry Riches, a former Big Brother star and disability campaigner, commented: "I'm howling but you're gonna absolutely love it. It's my favourite hotel ever! Xx"
Earlier TikTok Update
On Tuesday, Lily took to TikTok with a bleak update. After mentioning a rat problem in her flat, she said: "I'm also homeless, on Sunday I get evicted from my place. I currently have nowhere to go. I had two months to look for a place but I've just been busy with my hot girl summer and it's not been in my vocabulary to look for a place." She seemed unfazed, prioritising a tan over housing, and expressed confusion about Prime Minister Keir Starmer's retirement, saying: "I found out today that Keir Starmer has retired - what the f*** is going on?"
Rise to Fame
Lily has amassed nearly half a million followers on Instagram and TikTok since Big Brother. She originally applied for the show as an act of revenge against an ex-boyfriend, telling ITV: "I originally applied because it was my ex's favourite TV show because we broke up. I thought 'I'm going to go on his favourite TV show.'" She added: "When we broke up, I saw the advert and I thought I'm going to apply for his favourite TV show and get on it – I didn't think I would!"
