A young boy shouted 'I love you bro' at Prince William during a public engagement in South East London, and the future king's response has delighted onlookers. The moment was captured on video and shared on X, formerly Twitter, by user Susanna Fataki.
As Prince William was leaving a pub in Peckham, the boy called out to him. The Prince of Wales then stopped his car, reached out, and shook the young fan's hand. The video has since been viewed thousands of times, with many praising William's interaction.
Susanna Fataki described the scene: 'Outside the pub, excited young lads were shouting 'I love you bro!' He stopped and reached out to shake hands with one of them. Such a lovely moment.'
During his visit, Prince William also pulled pints at the Prince of Peckham pub and spoke about the importance of protecting British pubs. He said: 'I love pubs. I want to do as much as I can to support pubs because I love the community. We need to protect our pubs.'
The Prince's day included stops at a community charity and the Diana Award event in Shoreditch, where he engaged with the public throughout.
