In a very public display of family estrangement, Brooklyn Beckham has declared his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham his 'everything' in a loved-up Christmas Eve social media post, shortly after it was revealed he has blocked his immediate family on Instagram.
A Defiant Christmas Post Amidst Family Rift
The 26-year-old son of football legend David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham shared a snap of himself holding hands with his 30-year-old heiress wife. The photo was taken while the couple celebrated the festive season with Nicola's billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, in Miami, Florida.
He captioned the intimate image simply: 'My Everything'. The post is seen as another defiant gesture from Brooklyn, coming just days after he appeared to hit back at his family with a thinly-veiled barb on TikTok.
The Social Media Snub That Sparked Speculation
The Instagram fallout became public after Brooklyn's younger brother, Cruz Beckham, 20, refuted claims that their parents had chosen to unfollow Brooklyn. In an Instagram Story, Cruz clarified the situation, writing: 'My mum and dad would never unfollow their son... Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked... as did I.'
Sources close to David, 49, and Victoria, 51, confirm they would never voluntarily unfollow their son. They believe Brooklyn's decision to block them is a clear sign of his 'complete estrangement' from the family. 'By following him it was a message to him that they still love him and still want to follow his life. Now they can't do that, but it's not their doing,' a source explained.
Earlier in the week, Brooklyn posted a video on his Cloud23 hot sauce TikTok account, set to Lady Gaga's 'Telephone'. He notably highlighted the lyric 'sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy', which fans interpreted as a pointed message to his family.
Separate Festive Celebrations Highlight the Divide
The schism means Brooklyn will not be joining his parents and siblings—Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14—at their £10 million Cotswolds home for Christmas. Instead, he will remain in the US with the Peltz family.
Meanwhile, back in the UK, David, Romeo, and Cruz attempted to maintain festive cheer. New snaps showed them donning Santa hats and embracing, with Cruz serving homemade cocktails during a cosy Christmas Eve gathering. Romeo's girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, also joined the festivities.
The rift appears to have taken a significant toll on the wider family, particularly the grandparents. Victoria's mother, Jackie Adams, hung a Christmas stocking for Brooklyn at her Hertfordshire home in a hopeful gesture, but friends say both she and David's mother Sandra are 'extremely sad' about the situation.
The feud escalated notably when Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend any of David's 50th birthday celebrations in May, and Brooklyn failed to publicly acknowledge his father's knighthood in November. Despite David sharing throwback photos in an apparent olive branch, and Cruz posting a sweet sibling snap, communication has reportedly broken down entirely, with sources stating they haven't spoken for 'months and months'.
