Brooklyn Beckham has offered a glimpse into his life in Los Angeles with a new social media post, shared as reports of a rift within the famous Beckham family continue to swirl.
Beckham's LA Photo Dump
On Thursday, the 26-year-old aspiring chef and eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to share a personal album. The post featured a shirtless Brooklyn showcasing his tattoos, including a moment where he is seen kissing one of the pet dogs he shares with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.
The casual collection of snaps, which he captioned 'Lil photo dump x', also included images of stacked pizza boxes and a clip from a fancy restaurant, hinting at his recent activities in California.
A Brother's Olive Branch?
This personal update comes just a day after his younger brother, Cruz Beckham, appeared to make a poignant gesture. On Wednesday, Cruz shared a nostalgic throwback photo on his own Instagram account.
The image, taken during a sun-soaked family holiday in 2021, showed Cruz posing shirtless with his father David, 50, and brothers Brooklyn, 26, and Romeo, 23. Cruz captioned the post 'Love you guys @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham.'
This is believed to be the first time Cruz has publicly shared a picture of Brooklyn since the reported family feud deepened earlier this year. However, it is noted that Brooklyn and Cruz still do not follow each other on the platform.
The Roots of the Rift
The apparent tension reportedly escalated after Brooklyn posted a birthday tribute to his younger sister, Harper, which featured a family photo that did not include Cruz or Romeo. Brooklyn's wife, Nicola, later reposted the image.
Following this, it was revealed that both Cruz and Romeo had unfollowed—and reportedly blocked—Brooklyn and Nicola on Instagram. Friends of Brooklyn confirmed this to the Daily Mail in July. Notably, Brooklyn and Nicola still follow his parents, David and Victoria.
The situation is said to be particularly difficult for the family's grandmothers. Victoria's mother, Jackie Adams, recently shared a video on Instagram showing festive stockings hung for all her grandchildren, including Brooklyn's personalised one, in what friends describe as a public plea for reconciliation.
Sources close to the family state that while David and Victoria are 'making peace' with the distance, the grandmothers—Jackie and David's mother Sandra—are 'very sad' about the rift. They were exceptionally close to Brooklyn in his early years and are deeply affected by his absence from family gatherings.
