Model Caprice Bourett, 54, has revealed she hired ghostbusters to exorcise a ghost from her £5 million Notting Hill mansion after years of paranormal activity. The phantom, described as a woman in a long dress, allegedly haunted the property, terrifying her husband Ty Comfort and their 12-year-old twin sons, Jax and Jett.
Haunted from the Start
Caprice, who has appeared on over 250 magazine covers, said the strange occurrences began shortly after moving into the home in 2015. The family experienced slamming doors, cold zones, and a ghost seemingly fixated on the children. Her husband Ty witnessed the spirit firsthand when he checked a video monitor in the boys' bedroom, seeing a woman hovering over their cots. A babysitter also reportedly saw the ghost staring back at her.
Ghostbusters Called In
Speaking this week, Caprice said she paid three ghostbusters £300 to rid the house of the spirit, but two of them fled in terror. She recounted: 'I had three ghostbusters and a rabbi over…two of the ghostbusters ran out. I’m like “I’ve paid, you can't just run out!”' The remaining ghostbuster and the rabbi eventually performed an exorcism, but the ghost persisted for years.
Taking Matters into Her Own Hands
After enduring the haunting for several years, Caprice decided to exorcise the ghost herself. She said: 'I took matters into my own hands. I sat in the boys’ room and said “This isn’t your house any more…you’ve got to leave.” Suddenly, the atmosphere changed and she was gone.' The family has since lived peacefully in the mansion without further disturbances.
