Chloë Sevigny and husband Siniša Mačković make rare appearance at Marty Supreme afterparty
Chloë Sevigny's rare outing with husband at film premiere

Actress and fashion icon Chloë Sevigny made a rare public appearance with her husband, Siniša Mačković, this week, delighting fans at a star-studded film event.

A Chic Couple's Night Out

The couple attended the exclusive afterparty for the premiere of the sports comedy-drama Marty Supreme on Tuesday evening. Sevigny, 51, and Mačković, an art gallery director, coordinated in sleek black-and-white outfits, showcasing their signature couple style for photographers.

Sevigny's ensemble was a masterclass in effortless chic. She wore a white minidress with an asymmetrical skirt, layered with a second, black asymmetrical skirt on top. This was complemented by a black leather bomber jacket and knee-high leather boots, with a muted orange patterned scarf in hand.

Supporting Fellow Stars and Reflecting on Family

The soirée was held to celebrate Marty Supreme, which features an all-star cast including Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow and is set for release in cinemas on Christmas Day. Sevigny previously worked with Chalamet on the 2022 romantic horror film Bones and All, directed by Luca Guadagnino.

This appearance follows just over a week after Sevigny walked the red carpet for her other new film, Atropia. The war-satire movie, which premiered on 12 December, sees her star alongside Alia Shawkat and Callum Turner. Notably, Atropia was co-produced by Guadagnino, who directed Call Me By Your Name, the 2017 film that featured Chalamet's breakout role.

A Private Marriage Valued More Than Ever

Sevigny and Mačković have been married for nearly six years, after secretly tying the knot at New York City Hall in March 2020. They welcomed their first child, a son named Vanja, just two months later. The family later held a wedding celebration two years on, with their then-two-year-old son in attendance.

In recent interviews, Sevigny has been candid about how motherhood has deepened her bond with her husband. She told Rolling Stone in January 2024 that having their son was a 'miracle', admitting, 'I didn't think it was going to happen to me.'

By September 2024, she reflected further on her relationship with Mačković, whom she first met through a mutual friend in 2018. 'I value my relationship with my husband so much more,' she shared with The Cut. 'I value him and how much he participates and what he does for our household so much more than I ever could imagine. I'll do anything not to lose him.'

She praised his unwavering support, especially during moments of anxiety. 'When I'm having one of my anxiety spirals, he'll always talk me down,' she explained. 'What's so nice about my husband is he's so competent. I can trust he can take care of everything, so I don't have to, and that's really relaxing.'
