Donna Kelce, mother of Travis Kelce, described the wedding of Taylor Swift and her son as 'magical' during an interview at Macy's Fourth of July Celebration in New York City. The 73-year-old, known for appearing on The Traitors US, said: 'I really can't say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man. Magical.'
Wedding Details and Raffle
The ceremony, held at Madison Square Garden on July 3, was attended by around 1,000 guests, including musicians, actors, athletes, and the couple's friends and family. According to two guests, a raffle was held after the ceremony with prizes including multiple designer bags and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, the car Taylor and Travis rode together on their first date. It remains unclear who won the raffle prizes.
Guest Reactions and Celebrities
Guests noted that Travis appeared more emotional than Taylor, and many shed tears during the vows. Taylor did not perform during the main ceremony but sang a favorite rock song with Travis during the rehearsal dinner on July 2, attended by about 100 close friends and family. Country star Kelsea Ballerini called it 'the most beautiful wedding,' while director Joseph Kahn said it was 'so much funnier and emotional than expected.' Sportscaster Rich Eisen wrote on Instagram: 'Storybook doesn't do the expression of love we witnessed justice.' Actress Niecy Nash simply said 'wowwwwwww.'
