Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are reportedly planning to host their second wedding at a former 'mafia hotspot' in Italy. The singer, 30, and actor, 36, tied the knot with a low-key legal ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall, London, on Sunday. However, they are said to be lining up an opulent three-day celebration in Palermo, Sicily, with all their friends and loved ones this weekend.
The couple are reportedly going to host the main ceremony at Villa Valguarnera, an 18th-century palace in Bagheria. The estate attracted the Sicilian mafia in the 1980s, with Cosa Nostra bosses moving in and letting wild animals trash the ballroom. The mob was eventually ousted by its owner, Princess Vittoria Alliata di Villafranca, who still rents out the villa at 76.
Palermo mayor Roberto Lagalla is set to officiate the ceremony. Bagheria's mayor Filippo Tripoli told The Times: 'Bagheria is bouncing back after years in which it was known for mafia and violence, and Dua Lipa helps that process by putting it on the map for a different reason.' The celebrations will then be hosted at the luxurious Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel overlooking the sea.
The couple reportedly booked an entire floor of suites for their guests and the hotel is thought to be closed to the public. The 300-strong guest list reportedly includes Sir Elton John, Charli XCX, Olivia Dean and producer Mark Ronson. However, a source told The Sun: 'They want to keep it to their nearest and dearest so it’s not going to be a huge, showy occasion.'
Lipa and Turner began dating in January 2024 and got engaged last year. The singer announced her engagement in an interview with British Vogue in June 2025, saying: 'This decision to grow old together... is a really special feeling.' She later told Harpers Bazaar UK: 'I’m happier than ever.'
