Holly Ramsay & Adam Peaty's Family Feud: Gordon Shows Support Before Wedding
Gordon Ramsay supports Holly amid feud before Peaty wedding

Holly Ramsay and her fiancé, Olympic champion Adam Peaty, have been publicly backed by her famous family just weeks before their highly anticipated wedding, amid a reported and bitter feud with the groom's in-laws.

Family Support in Bath Ahead of Nuptials

Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana were spotted in Bath this week, joining their daughter Holly and future son-in-law Adam for a family dinner. The show of solidarity comes as preparations for the couple's star-studded wedding on December 27 are overshadowed by a very public falling out with Adam's side of the family.

The group, which also included the Ramsays' daughter Tilly, 24, was photographed leaving the Robun Japanese sushi restaurant and cocktail bar. Bride-to-be Holly, 25, looked chic in a black outfit and was seen holding hands with Adam's five-year-old son, George. Fellow diners noted that Holly and Adam, 30, appeared "inseparable" throughout the evening.

The Roots of the Reported Feud

The tension is said to have begun at the couple's engagement party in London last December, an event filmed for Gordon Ramsay's documentary series, Being Gordon Ramsay. Reports claim guests were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements and surrender their phones.

More significantly, it is alleged that Adam's mother, Caroline Peaty, was upset that some of her relatives were not invited and confronted Gordon Ramsay at the party. The situation has since escalated, with sources claiming Caroline has been left "heartbroken" after allegedly being "banned" from the main wedding ceremony at Bath Abbey.

Due to this ongoing row and the high costs associated with the event, it is believed that Adam's sister, Bethany, may be the only member of the Peaty family in attendance at the lavish post-Christmas celebration.

Accusations of Change and Exclusion

Sources close to Adam's mother have expressed deep concern over the situation, suggesting the champion swimmer has "changed" since his relationship with Holly began. They have accused him of chasing fame and turning his back on his working-class roots in Uttoxeter.

"She's from a celebrity world and his parents are not, and his ego and self-importance has just got bigger," one source told the Daily Mail. "He's not the lovely boy next door that we all remember him as... He has been so horrible to his mum and he is now trying to exclude her from his life."

Despite the very public family drama, Holly and Adam seem focused on their future together. The couple will exchange vows at the historic Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Bath before hosting festive celebrations for their guests.
