Jordyn Woods Upset After Courtside Seat Snub at Knicks Game in Las Vegas
Jordyn Woods moved from courtside at Knicks game

Media influencer Jordyn Woods was left visibly disappointed during a high-profile basketball match in Las Vegas this week after being unexpectedly relocated from her coveted courtside seats.

A Courtside Disappointment

The incident occurred on Tuesday at the T-Mobile Arena, where the 28-year-old was cheering on her boyfriend, professional basketball player Karl-Anthony Towns. Woods had been watching the NBA Cup Tournament game alongside Towns's father when the pair were asked to move from their prime positions courtside.

She was later spotted watching the remainder of the match from a seat farther back in the arena. Despite the initial setback, Woods had reason to celebrate by the final buzzer, as the New York Knicks, the team Towns began playing for in 2024, secured a victory over the San Antonio Spurs with a score of 124-113.

Celebration and Style at the Arena

Woods, who recently turned heads modeling lingerie, was stylishly dressed for the sporting event. Her outfit consisted of denim jeans, a cropped black blazer, and a fitted black top. She accessorised with a flashy silver watch and a pair of fashionable sunglasses perched on her head, her long hair flowing in light waves.

Following the Knicks' win, the star took to her Instagram Stories to share celebratory moments. One snap showed a happy reunion with Towns, who held a large gold trophy in his right hand. Another image captured Woods posing with a Champions cap on her head, surrounded by confetti. She also shared a moment with Ali Marks, the wife of Knicks star Jalen Brunson, where she got to hold the trophy herself, captioning the image 'The real trophies'.

A Relationship Built on Friendship

Woods and Towns, both 28, have a relationship with a strong foundation of friendship. They had been close for years before their romance became official in 2020. In an October appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, Woods explained that their deep connection was forged through shared life experiences, including the loss of her father when she was 18 and difficulties Towns has faced.

'He went through a lot in his life... I was able to be a different type of support system and that was what really blossomed our relationship,' she revealed. The media personality describes Towns as 'like a big kid' who keeps things exciting. Towns, in turn, has praised Woods's growing knowledge of basketball, telling People magazine in February 2024 that they watch game film together and dissect matches, calling her a 'basketball savant'.

Woods is also known for her on-and-off friendship with Kylie Jenner, which became strained in 2019 following a cheating scandal involving Tristan Thompson. However, the pair have seemingly reconciled, being spotted together at a Los Angeles sushi restaurant in July 2023 and again in a TikTok video in September 2024. Earlier this year, in May, they were both in attendance at a Knicks playoff game in New York City.

Professionally, Woods remains busy, having recently collaborated with Amazon to launch her own line of NBA-themed merchandise. Reflecting on her current chapter, she told WWD this month: 'I feel like I'm in a really great spot, and I'm more confident than I've ever been.'
