This public appearance follows a period of profound personal loss for the actress. Kate's mother, Judy Loe, passed away at the age of 78 on July 15. Kate revealed the devastating news on Instagram this summer, sharing that her mother had died in her arms after what she described as 'immeasurable suffering'. She admitted to being 'paralysed' with grief at the time.
While a cause of death was not officially confirmed, Kate had previously disclosed that her mother had been battling stage four cancer for the last two years. In a poignant tribute last month, Kate unveiled a new tattoo on her arm—a sketch of her mother from 1971. She had the inking done by renowned artist Dr Woo, placing it below an existing tattoo that reads 'Fatherless sc*m', a tribute to her late father and stepfather referencing a David Bowie song.
