Katie Price has prompted fresh worries about her wellbeing after being photographed looking noticeably frail and requiring assistance to walk during a night out in Hertfordshire.
Unsteady on her feet at glitzy launch
The former glamour model, 47, attended the launch night for her friend Yasmin Oukhellou's business venture on Monday evening. Photographs obtained by The Sun showed Katie looking unsteady on her feet, with fellow Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace offering her support as they arrived at the venue.
Dressed in a pair of see-through leggings and an oversized biker jacket, Katie's tiny frame was the focus of attention. She later attended an afterparty, where she was seen being held up by two women as she stumbled entering the location, despite wearing a pair of sunglasses after dark.
Ongoing mystery over dramatic weight loss
This incident is not the first time concerns have been raised about Katie Price's dramatic weight loss. In November, she disclosed she had undergone medical tests to determine the cause, having previously denied using weight loss medication.
Speaking to fans on Snapchat, Katie explained the situation: "I've been up early at the doctors so she could do some bloods and because my veins are so s*** they had three attempts. They could only fill two tubes up, so I've got to go back in two weeks." She added that she also needed stitches removed from a minor kitchen knife injury.
The star was candid about her confusion, stating: "The reason I'm going to the doctors is because I keep losing weight and I don't know why."
Fears linked to past cancer scare
Katie Price, who has long battled body image issues, has recently expressed fear that her health concerns might be connected to a previous cancer diagnosis. While pregnant with her eldest son Harvey, she was diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue cancer in her finger, known as leiomyosarcoma.
On her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she revealed new worries: “The same finger – this is about three weeks ago – I thought, have I knocked it? Because it hurts when I push it, but there’s no lump. I hope it’s not that again.”
A source close to the star told OK! magazine in October that Katie is "terrified" about her health. The insider said: “She's fretting that this new lump is another cancer. She has been desperate to have another baby and it’s worrying knowing that her health isn't where it needs to be.”
