Michelle Keegan and her husband Mark Wright offered a heartwarming glimpse into their family life this week, making a rare public appearance with their young daughter. The couple, both 38, were the picture of doting parents during a casual outing in Hale, Cheshire, on Wednesday.
A Family Lunch in Cheshire
The Brassic actress and the television presenter opted for a relaxed bite to eat at the upscale venue, Toast. After their meal, the family departed in their new BMW, wrapping up a low-key afternoon together. Michelle Keegan styled a chic yet comfortable look for the day, wrapping up in a brown trench coat layered over a beige turtleneck and dark trousers.
She completed the outfit with black trainers and a pair of earrings, her brunette hair tied back neatly. Mark Wright mirrored the casual vibe, sporting a black hoodie with matching joggers and a pair of white trainers. He took charge of pushing their daughter, Palma, who looked adorable in a white jacket and a pink dress as she sat in her buggy.
Preparing for a 'Magical' First Christmas
This outing comes as the couple prepare for an extra special first Christmas with their little girl, who was born in March. In a move that has delighted their fans, Michelle and Mark revealed in November that they had put their Christmas decorations up early at their magnificent £3.5 million Essex mansion.
They enlisted the help of 4 Seasons Events to transform their home into a festive wonderland, sharing the impressive results on Instagram. The display featured garlands with red baubles and giant bows framing the front entryway, with foliage running down the bannisters of their grand hallway. A huge Christmas tree took centre stage, adorned with gold stars and more red baubles, surrounded by presents.
The couple captioned the post: 'It's the most wonderful time of the year, an extra special one for us this time.' Fans flooded the comments with praise, calling the decor 'absolutely stunning' and 'gorgeous'.
Their Dream Home and Lasting Love
The festive display is the finishing touch on a home that represents a major labour of love for the pair. They purchased the property for £1.3 million back in 2019 and undertook a full renovation, documenting the process on social media. The build was finally completed in 2023, celebrated with a swanky pool party in their sprawling garden.
The jaw-dropping mansion now boasts five bedrooms, a bar, cinema room, sauna, custom-built kitchen, a home gym, and even a five-a-side football pitch. In an emotional interview last year, Michelle recalled being brought to tears when she first saw the finished result after months of filming abroad, stating they had 'worked really hard' and made sacrifices to achieve their dream home.
The happy couple, who have been together for over a decade, tied the knot in a £1 million ceremony in Suffolk in 2015. Earlier this month, Michelle shared another sweet moment with her baby girl, posting a snap of them in matching pyjamas with the caption 'Matching with my girl'.
