Love Island star Laura Anderson made a glamorous appearance at the Starry Night Gala for Action For Children UK, just weeks after hitting back at mum-shamers. The 34-year-old, who gave birth to daughter Bonnie in September, wore a striking silk plum dress with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit, paired with hot pink heels.
Anderson, who finished second on Love Island in 2018, has been open about the online abuse she faces regarding her parenting. She recently told The Sun: 'I get so many DMs on the daily about silly little daily things... But it's all about the delivery, it's all about how you say it.'
The criticism intensified after she shared photos from a Dubai holiday, with some followers suggesting baby Bonnie was not adequately protected from the sun. However, others defended Anderson, noting that babies often have pinker skin tones.
Anderson, who launched her own clothing line with New Look earlier this month, received praise from fellow reality stars for her gala outfit. Married at First Sight UK's Laura Vaughan called it 'beautiful,' while Love Islander Hayley Hughes described it as 'stunning.'
