Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna has candidly discussed navigating a painful, years-long rift between her two model daughters, Amelia and Delilah Hamlin.
The 'Uncomfortable' Family Feud
Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast, the 62-year-old reality TV alum described the period of estrangement between her girls as a deeply difficult ordeal for the family. Rinna, who shares her daughters with long-term husband Harry Hamlin, admitted the situation was 'very uncomfortable' for everyone involved.
'Those girls can fight, you know? Girls can love and then hate each other,' she explained, noting the sisters were not close 'for a minute.' While Rinna did not disclose the exact cause of the past disagreement, she emphasised that the conflict spanned a couple of years before the pair eventually reconciled.
From Rift to Reconciliation
Thankfully, the dark chapter is now firmly in the past. Rinna confirmed that Amelia, 24, and Delilah, 27, have mended their relationship and are now 'very close.' She praised their strong sisterly bond, particularly within the tricky modelling industry they both navigate.
'They're sisters, you know what I mean? But super supportive of each other in this business they're both in which can be very tricky,' the proud mother said. Rinna and Hamlin, married since 1997, both feel immense pride in their daughters' character. 'Both of us, Harry and myself, feel that whatever we did, we turned out some good humans,' she stated, calling them 'kind, compassionate, good girls.'
Sisterly Success in Fashion
The Hamlin sisters have since cemented their repaired relationship through several high-profile joint modelling campaigns. In July, they graced the cover of V Magazine, shot by renowned photographer Steven Klein. Delilah hailed the experience, calling Amelia her 'built in best friend' and stating the cover 'shows the dynamic of our relationship perfectly.'
Their collaboration continued just one month later with a stunning spread for Vogue, again captured by Klein. This follows their joint appearance in Michael Kors' holiday campaign last year, proving their professional and personal partnership is stronger than ever.
Rinna's reflections on family dynamics come as her daughter Amelia's new romance is revealed. She is now dating Nicolai Marciano, heir to the Guess? Inc fashion empire and son of co-founder Paul Marciano. Amelia was previously in a relationship with Scott Disick, which ended in September 2021 after nearly 11 months.
