Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has delighted fans by showcasing the transformation of her new family home, following a significant move last year. The actress, best known for playing Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, has been documenting her interior design journey on social media.
Emotional Move and Fresh Start
It has been nearly 12 months since Fallon, alongside her fiancé Ryan Ledson, packed up their previous home. The move came after the couple welcomed their second child, Nancy, at the start of 2025. Fallon, who also shares two-year-old son Sonny with footballer Ledson, had been taking a break from her Weatherfield role.
In a TikTok video posted during the move, Fallon admitted to feeling emotional as she watched her house being emptied. 'Spend the day moving house with us. So the time has come, we have officially moved out of our house. We've packed everything up, everything's gone into storage and we are waiting for our house to complete,' she said in a voiceover.
Describing the experience as a 'stressful and crazy time,' she added: 'It feels really weird to have moved out of this house. This was the home that Sonny and Nancy were brought back to after they were born, we've made some amazing memories here and it was actually really emotional seeing all their stuff out of the room and thinking we're never, ever going to come back to this house again.' She concluded: 'I did have a small little cry but onwards and upwards and when one door closes, another opens. Thank you house, you've been amazing.'
Transforming the New Home Room by Room
Now settled into her new property, Fallon has been sharing her decorating progress with fans. After revealing a playroom for her two children, she recently posted a video on Instagram showcasing what she called a 'calm retreat.' The room features patterned wallpaper replacing previously green walls.
In the caption, Fallon wrote: 'This gorjy room has been transformed into a calm lil retreat - can’t wait for crimbo with the fire on in hereeeee! We used @ashleywildegroup fabric to create beautiful sheer Roman blinds, offering privacy while softly diffusing natural light throughout the room. The layered look adds texture, depth and an elegant finish without compromising the bright, airy feel. For the walls, we selected a stunning statement wallpaper from @brewerspaints by @littlegreenepaintcompany - bringing character and timeless charm to the space. To complete the room, we mixed furniture from the old house with some new additions.'
