Myleene Klass Recounts 'Utterly Terrifying' Home Burglary Attempt While Baby Slept

Loose Women star Myleene Klass has shared the harrowing experience of a burglary attempt at her home while she was alone with her baby. The 46-year-old described the incident as 'utterly terrifying' during a discussion on the ITV show about recent break-ins, including that of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright.

Klass explained that she initially mistook the intruders for a cat triggering security lights, but soon realised three people were trying to gain entry. 'I looked into the security camera and there was a van, so worked out that was three people trying to get in the house. I'm on my own, I'm a new mum - it was utterly terrifying,' she said.

The presenter revealed that a friend on the phone alerted the police, while she herself 'raised all kinds of hell' to scare off the intruders. 'I thought that I would be really fearful. I went mad! They must have thought who's house have they tried to break into. I went mad and chased them off the property!' she added.

The discussion was prompted by the recent burglary at the home of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright in Essex. The couple, expecting their first child, discovered the break-in at around 6.20pm on Tuesday. Essex Police confirmed that thieves rummaged through the property before fleeing, and are investigating lines of inquiry including forensic opportunities, CCTV and witness statements.
