The first look at Oasis' new tour documentary has been released, showing Noel Gallagher admitting his concerns about reuniting with brother Liam. A year to the day since their Live 25 Tour kicked off in Cardiff, the band announced the movie's title, Don't Look Back in Anger, with a trailer featuring unseen footage.
Brothers Reunite After 14 Years
The formerly warring brothers are seen heading to rehearsals after not speaking for over 14 years following a furious off-stage bust-up. As well as backstage clips, the new documentary airs the first joint interview from Noel and Liam in 25 years.
“I just don’t see myself on stage with Liam. I just don’t see it,” says Noel in the preview. “The way it finished - unacceptable,” responds Liam. A voiceover continues: “Most are convinced it wouldn’t happen and some still are.” “It’s gonna be chaos,” declares Liam.
Oasis Breakup and Comeback Tour
Oasis officially broke up on August 28, 2009, following a violent backstage altercation between the Gallagher brothers at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Noel Gallagher quit the band, cancelling their remaining tour dates and ending a 15-year run. The Oasis Live '25 comeback tour went on to feature a total of 41 shows spanning a five-month period across the UK, Ireland, North America, Oceania, and South America. The tour began on July 4 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium and concluded on November 23 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Documentary Release and Future Tour Rumours
The movie, directed by Peaky Blinders director Steven Knight, is set for release in cinemas and IMAX this September. The news comes amid rumours the brothers are set to reunite the band once again next year following the global success of their Live '25 tour. Venue sources have reported that the group are planning an epic 12-night residency at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium across May and June 2027. Adding fuel to the rumour, Manchester's Parklife festival shifted its traditional June dates to July 2027 to clear the schedule for a major run of city shows. The run is expected to expand far beyond Manchester into a full world tour. Dates are reportedly being mapped across the UK, Europe, North America, and South America (including Chile, Argentina, and Brazil).
Romantic Comedy Vibe
Until then, fans will get the chance to relive the memories of 2025 with the release of their upcoming documentary. The Mirror previously revealed how the upcoming documentary is less a case of Don't Look Back in Anger and more like Love Actually. Peace has taken root so deeply between the once-warring Gallagher brothers that singer Liam said the film of their reunion tour plays out like a romantic comedy. Liam said: "People asking me what the documentary's like. It's a romantic comedy with a bit of rock'n'roll." The singer said they will roll out a sky blue carpet for the premiere, a nod to their love of Manchester City. A fan asked: "Will we see you crying with Noel in the doc?" Liam replied: "BIG GIRLS don't cry."

Peaky Blinders' director Steven Knight, who made the doc, said: "I believe it captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people." He added: "I also wanted to tell the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever.
