Princess Andre has spoken out against 'awful' comments targeting her mother Katie Price's weight, saying the trolling has put her off sharing more content featuring the former model. The 18-year-old posted a mini vlog on Instagram and TikTok of herself and Katie, 47, on a shopping trip in central London, but the video was met with cruel remarks calling Katie a 'walking skeleton'.
While fans have expressed concern over Katie's weight loss in recent months—with Katie herself revealing she had booked a doctor's appointment to investigate—Princess said the trolling went too far. 'Me and mum went out shopping and it was such a good day out, we had so much fun, then the amount of comments [on the video] about how she looks… I’ve never seen anything like it,' she told The Sun.
Princess added: 'I understand she looks skinny, we’ve all told her, but what gives you the right to comment on someone’s appearance? When I get that sort of feedback on videos of me and my Mum, it just makes me want to not post her and not show people how much fun we actually have.' She branded the comments as 'awful'.
The budding star, whose reality show is set to release a second series, revealed her mother does feature in the programme. She also teased a potential reunion between her parents, Katie and Peter Andre, who recently called a truce after a nine-year bitter fallout. Princess told the Mirror: 'You’ll still see mum and dad in it, just not physically. But the good thing is now my parents have come out with this agreement to be fine, so hopefully season three they will actually be in it.'
Ex-couple Katie and Peter, who met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, released a joint statement earlier this year announcing their decision to 'close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect'. The statement added: 'We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children.'
