Roxy Horner has taken her wedding dress for a second spin, donning the white gown for a trip to the supermarket after marrying comedian Jack Whitell in the Cotswolds last month. The influencer shared a photo on Instagram of herself pushing a trolley down the aisle, captioning it: “He asked me to walk down the aisle again… So I dressed appropriately! I refuse to wear this dress just once.”
The couple tied the knot in a £250,000 ceremony at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire, a 17th-century venue featuring a boating lake, orangery, helicopter pad, wisteria-draped pergola, and ballroom. Horner wore one dress for the ceremony and another for the after-party, having completed final fittings at Mayfair’s Galia Lahav.
Speaking to Vogue, Horner said she chose one of the first dresses she tried on. For footwear, she wore Alaia’s La Coeur heels for the ceremony and Freya Rose heels for the reception. Her jewellery included her grandmother’s engagement ring as “something borrowed,” noting, “She handed it down to me when she passed away, which was so special.”
Whitell wore a traditional black tie suit with a flower buttonhole and Christian Louboutin shoes. He admitted to a wardrobe malfunction, saying, “I squatted down to pick up Elsie and my trousers split, my whole ass was hanging out.” Horner, a mother of one, also invested £6,000 in cosmetic procedures before the wedding, including laser sessions and injectables at Harley Street in London.
