Shirlie Kemp, mother of radio host Roman Kemp, has unveiled the spectacular Christmas decorations at her Victorian home alongside husband Martin Kemp. The couple, known for their show-stopping festive displays, have transformed their property into a winter wonderland, sharing the process on their Instagram page @maisonnumber9.
The front door features twinkling fairy lights, rogue branches, and oversized purple, orange, and gold baubles, with a wreath hanging beneath the glass panels. Inside, a mini Christmas tree with white lights greets guests. Shirlie admitted she added so much foliage that the fairy lights are hidden, but fans praised the “magical” exterior.
The couple also decorated a separate cottage, showcasing a cosy kitchen with candles on the island unit and a bar trolley stocked with festive drinks. A garland with fairy lights runs up the white bannister. Shirlie captioned a clip: “The cottage is so cosy I can’t wait for guests to arrive at Christmas.”
Even Shirlie’s workspace, a former pig shed known as ‘Piglet,’ is festive, with a homemade stocking, a bowl of pine cones, and a wreath made of dried leaves. The couple are also working on their garden, potentially adding an outdoor dining set with a fireplace, reminiscent of their previous home.
