Vernon Kay has shown there is no ill will between him and his ex-wife Tess Daly, as he left a supportive comment on her Instagram post from a recent trip to New York. Tess, 57, shared photos of her time in the Big Apple with their daughter Phoebe, 21, who lives in the US.
The former Strictly Come Dancing presenter posted a series of snaps, including one at Black Seed Bagels, captioned: "NYC with my best girls #HelloGorgeous." Vernon, 52, responded with: "What a few days," alongside a red heart and fire emoji. Phoebe added: "Love you the best time ever."
The couple announced their separation earlier this year after 22 years of marriage, stating in a joint statement that they had "made the decision to separate amicably." They emphasised their commitment to co-parenting and asked for privacy.
A source told the Daily Mail that the divorce is expected to be straightforward, as both are financially independent. Vernon reportedly earns £395,000 from BBC Radio 2, while Tess earned around £400,000 from Strictly and her swimwear brand. Vernon's father, Norman, confirmed there is no bad blood, saying: "We're all very fond of Tess; they made a lovely couple."
