Television personality Vogue Williams has shared intimate details about her and husband Spencer Matthews' hopes to grow their family, explaining the careful timing behind her recent appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
The Family Planning Window
Speaking on a pre-recorded episode of her Global podcast, Vogue and Amber, which she hosts with her sister Amber Wilson, the 40-year-old outlined their considerations. The couple, who married in 2018, are already parents to seven-year-old Theodore, five-year-old Gigi, and three-year-old Otto.
Vogue explained that she and Spencer, 37, identified a specific period to focus on personal projects before attempting to conceive another child. This window included Spencer's ambitious Project 7 Ironman challenge and her own jungle venture.
"My reasoning is kind of that Otto is three and a half and if we decided to have another baby then I wouldn't be able to do it next year," Vogue stated on the podcast. "And I still wouldn't be able to do it the year after because the baby would be too small."
Why Now Was the Right Time for the Jungle
Williams framed her decision to enter the ITV reality show as seizing an opportunity that aligned perfectly with her family's support structure. She expressed a belief in things happening for a reason.
"I just had this window where it is a possibility that I can go and do it and our family is all around," she said. "So Alexander, Spenny's mum, my mum and Auntie Gina are all around to help look after the kids. So, I think it just feels like a good time to do it."
Spencer's Heartfelt Jungle Tribute
Vogue's candid family planning revelations follow her recent exit from the I'm A Celebrity camp. Her departure was marked by an emotional moment when a letter from Spencer was read aloud by her campmate, Shona McGarty.
The touching note, which brought Vogue to tears, was shared publicly amid unfounded speculation about the state of their marriage, which both have strongly denied.
"My darling Vogue, the kids and I are so unbelievably proud of you," the letter began. "Watching you take on the jungle with courage, humour and heart fills us with admiration. You've always had this incredible ability to light up any room you walk into and we're delighted seeing you do the same out there."
Spencer concluded the message with: "Keep being you, we're all behind you cheering you on, we're all counting down the days until we can wrap our arms around you again. We all adore you, Spenner."
The couple's openness about their future plans and this public display of support has captivated fans, reinforcing their status as one of Britain's most followed celebrity families.
