Jowita Przystal Clarifies Strictly Future After 'Last Dance' Post Sparks Exit Fears
Strictly's Jowita Przystal denies exit rumours after cryptic post

Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Przystal has been forced to clarify her future on the hit BBC show after a cryptic social media post sent fans into a panic over the weekend.

The Post That Caused Confusion

On Saturday afternoon, ahead of the 2025 series finale, the 31-year-old Polish dancer shared a selfie with her celebrity partner, 63-year-old Scottish TV presenter Ross King. The pair, who were the second couple voted off this series, beamed for the camera, with Jowita wearing a pink sequinned top.

The accompanying caption, however, is what sparked widespread concern. She wrote: "Last dance partner on strictly floor x." The lack of punctuation led many loyal viewers to fear she was announcing her departure from the show altogether.

Fan Reaction and the Punctuation Plea

The comment section quickly filled with anxious questions. One fan asked on social media: "Jowita just shared this! Is this her last year?" Another added: "I wondered also. I hope not she is my favourite female pro."

Others speculated it might be a simple case of phrasing or a language barrier, suggesting she meant it was her last dance with Ross King. This theory proved to be correct.

Realising the commotion she had caused, Jowita took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to set the record straight. She posted a group photo of the Strictly cast with a clarifying message.

Jowita Sets the Record Straight

Her follow-up post read: "So grateful for being a part of the best show on tv. And just to clarify my last post it was about my last dance with ross, not me leaving the show. Hopefully far from my last dance on that dance floor."

Relieved fans responded with humour, with one urging: "Jowita please include some punctuation in your stories, you're sending us into a panic girl!" Another quipped: "All because of a missed comma!"

Jowita, who made her Strictly debut in 2021, quickly became a fan favourite and won the Glitterball Trophy in her first competitive year with wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin in 2022.

Bigger Changes for Strictly's Future

While Jowita's place on the professional roster seems secure, the show is facing a significant changing of the guard. The 2025 final on Saturday night marked the last ever hosting appearance for veterans Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, sparking immediate speculation about their replacements.

Former professional and It Takes Two host Janette Manrara fanned the flames of speculation during a BBC Breakfast interview. When pressed by presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt about whether she wanted the main presenting role, she playfully responded, "I'm not saying I don't want the job... It is the dream." She did, however, emphasise her love for her current role on the sister show.
