Taylor Swift's Wedding Dress: Who Will Design It?

Taylor Swift's engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, announced last August, has sparked intense speculation about their wedding plans. The couple is reportedly tying the knot this week, with celebrations at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden on July 2 and 3. Guests are said to have signed NDAs, leaving fashion observers to focus on the key question: who will design the dress?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Swift's bridal look may be custom couture by Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior. Clues include her carrying a bright yellow Mini Lady Dior bag in April, which some interpret as an Easter egg. Anderson recently closed Dior's spring 2026 haute couture collection with a bridal-inspired look, adding to the speculation.

Ralph Lauren is another contender, given the rumoured celebrations coincide with the US's 250th anniversary. Both Swift and Kelce wore Ralph Lauren in their engagement photoshoot, and Swift is known to enjoy Fourth of July festivities. Oscar de la Renta, a long-time favourite of Swift's, has dressed her for major events like the 2014 Met Gala and the 2021 Grammy Awards. The brand's former creative directors, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, now at their label Monse, are also in the running, with Page Six reporting a custom Monse design is a top contender.

Swift has largely avoided luxury brand collaborations and has not attended fashion shows in over a decade. Choosing Anderson would mark a shift in her fashion legacy, while an American label like Ralph Lauren would be fitting for the occasion.
