The Victoria's Secret fashion show is back for 2024, with a renewed focus on inclusivity after years of controversy. The event, which once defined the festive season, was cancelled in 2019 following transphobic and fatphobic comments from former Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek. After a documentary-style return in 2023, the runway officially returned last year, featuring the first trans models and plus-size stars.
This year's show, airing tonight at midnight UK time, boasts an even more diverse roster. Returning models include Alex Consani and Valentina Sampaio, the first trans models to walk for the brand, alongside plus-size icons Ashley Graham and Paloma Elsesser. OG Victoria's Secret Angels like Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, and Joan Smalls will also grace the runway.
New faces include plus-size models Barbie Ferreira, Precious Lee, and Yumi Nu, as well as influencer Quenlin Blackwell. In a historic first, American basketball player Angel Reese will walk, becoming the first professional athlete to appear in the show.
The musical performances will feature an all-female line-up, including Missy Elliott, Madison Beer, Karol G, and K-pop group Twice. The show will stream on Prime Video, Amazon Live, and the brand's social media channels.
