Lara Worthington Stuns in New York with Trendy Martine Rose Jacket
Lara Worthington's Stylish New York Outing

Lara Worthington cut a cool figure this week when she was spotted out and about in New York. The Australian model was seen scrolling through her phone, seemingly keen to keep a low profile as she walked the streets of the Big Apple.

Outfit Details

The 38-year-old wore a black and burgundy track bomber jacket from British designer Martine Rose, one of the biggest fashion trends right now. The $1,300 jacket featured a high funnel neck zipped all the way up, white stripes along the sleeves, and eye-catching yellow piping for an extra pop of colour.

She paired it with loose-fitting plain black trousers and a black leather belt. Lara finished her ensemble with black leather loafers, almost obscured by the hem of her pants. Her flaxen locks were styled in a straight bob, and she accessorised with black wraparound sunglasses. A make-up-free Lara carried a Versace bucket bag over her right shoulder. The $3,300 accessory was crafted from green emerald suede with a brown leather trim and an ornate gold-tone chain.

Recent Antics with Cody Simpson

This sighting comes after Lara, married to Avatar star Sam Worthington, was spotted hamming it up with Aussie singer Cody Simpson at the F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne in March. The pair were joking around and took part in the viral 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' TikTok challenge. In the clip shared to Lara's TikTok, Aussie DJ Milly Gattegno starts by flipping the bird to Joan Jett's song. Cody, in sunglasses and a leather jacket, mouths 'No, we're so sorry.' Lara then pushes Cody along the street, raising both middle fingers, captioning it: 'No, we're not, f*** you b***h.'

Family Life

Lara and Sam have been married for 11 years, tying the knot in Melbourne in 2014. They have three children: Rocket Zot, 11, Racer, 9, and River, 6. The couple keeps their family life private, but Sam recently gave a rare insight when discussing his film Avatar: Fire and Ash. He told The Washington Post that they let their sons watch the film but quickly turned it off. 'I think it was just too much for them,' Sam said. 'My oldest said, "I felt sorry for the guy in the wheelchair," and I said: "It's me! I can walk! It's all good."' Sam, who lives with his family in New York, prefers to stay out of the spotlight. 'I'm quite an introverted guy,' he admitted. 'When you do interviews, it seems to be about you, but I'm still learning who that is. I always like anonymity. Having a blue avatar face, it may not get you nearly as recognised – but I'm not in it for that.'
