Bruno Mars has announced his long-awaited fourth album, The Romantic, marking his first solo release in a decade. The album is set for release on 27 February, preceded by the single “I Just Might”, which is out now.
The singer, born Peter Gene Hernandez, has not released a solo record since 2016’s 24K Magic, but has continued to achieve chart success. He won four Grammy awards in 2022 for the Silk Sonic single “Leave the Door Open” and is nominated for three awards at this year’s Grammys for “APT”, a collaboration with ROSÉ.
Mars will embark on The Romantic Tour in support of the album, beginning on 10 April in Las Vegas. The tour includes two shows at Wembley Stadium in London on 18 and 19 July, his only UK dates announced so far. Anderson .Paak will support as “DJ Pee.Wee” on all dates, with Leon Thomas, RAYE and Victoria Monét at select shows.
An artist presale begins on Wednesday 14 January, with general sale on 15 January. This is Mars’s first headline tour in nearly a decade and his first stadium tour worldwide.
