A professional from the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing has been arrested on suspicion of rape, according to reports.
Details of the Arrest
The male star was arrested in London on 13 October. The alleged incident is reported to have taken place in Hertfordshire at some point during 2024.
Hertfordshire Police have officially confirmed the arrest. A spokesperson stated that the man was released on police bail while their inquiries continue. They also confirmed that the alleged victim was not a contestant or a professional dancer linked to the Strictly Come Dancing programme.
A Pattern of Concern for the Show
This is not the first such incident to rock the popular dance competition. This arrest follows another in August, where a different male star from the show was also arrested on suspicion of rape and non-consensual intimate image abuse.
