Emmerdale Fans Predict Celia and Ray's Downfall

Emmerdale viewers are convinced that villainous farmer Celia Daniels is heading for a downfall, but a shocking twist has left them stunned. Celia, played by Jaye Griffiths, has been terrorising the Yorkshire village for months, conning Moira Dingle and running a slavery ring on her farm with foster son Ray Walters.

In Friday's episode, Moira (Natalie J Robb) confronted Celia again, backed by Cain Dingle. Celia offered Moira a wad of cash, which she refused. Celia then told Ray: 'By the time they realise how deep a mess they're in, we will be long gone,' hinting at a buried slave on Moira's farm.

Meanwhile, Ray (Joe Absolom) has been blackmailing Marlon Dingle for £2,000 a week to keep daughter April out of the drug trade. When Ray expressed doubts about fleeing, Celia unveiled a plan to kidnap April and take her to Wrexham, creating 'even more of an incentive' for payments.

Fans took to social media to react. One wrote: 'Said it months ago when the heat is on Celia packs up leaving devastation behind.' Another predicted: 'Something tells me that Ray and Celia are not going to make it to Wrexham!' Actress Jaye Griffiths has confirmed she is leaving the show, saying: 'I knew it was finite, which I am very sad about.'

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
