Selena Gomez Draws Huge Crowd on Oxford Street

Shoppers were left completely gobsmacked after spotting an A-list celebrity casually walking outside a busy shop on Oxford Street. Within seconds, huge crowds gathered around the actress and singer as excited fans scrambled to take photos and grab autographs while she made her way through central London.

Fan Encounters Selena Gomez

One stunned fan, known as @tanulyaodessa on Instagram, said they initially had no idea why people were suddenly screaming outside the store. They explained: "I was just walking in London when I noticed a huge crowd outside a shop. Everyone was screaming and I had absolutely no idea what was happening. I decided to cross the road to see who it was." Moments later, they realised they had come face-to-face with none other than Selena Gomez. The fan added: "Meeting Selena Gomez in London up close. She is literally an angel!"

Selena's London Adventures

The star appeared happy to stop for fans, politely greeting people and posing for selfies as the crowds quickly grew around her. Selena is currently spending time in the UK while filming season six of Only Murders in the Building after the fifth season wrapped last year. The actress has been documenting parts of her London trip online, sharing snaps of famous landmarks, meals out and sightseeing around London. On her Instagram Story, Selena posted a photo of the Palace of Westminster alongside the caption: "I adore London." She also shared a picture of a traditional roast dinner while jokingly asking her husband, Benny Blanco, to cook the meal for her when she returns home.

Only Murders in the Building Success

Since launching in 2021, Only Murders in the Building — which also stars comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short — has become hugely popular with viewers. The hit mystery-comedy series has picked up dozens of awards and nominations, with fans praising both its humour and surprising twists. One viewer wrote online: "The cast and writing is what makes this show so special." Another added: "It's just a fun show that you can binge over a few days." A third user said: "We all know that Steve Martin and Martin Short can combine to produce comedy gold, but who could have predicted that Steve Martin and Selena Gomez would have such incredible chemistry? Add in the wonderful Nathan Lane and now Sting and after just three episodes, I am completely hooked."
