Trafford Centre Summer Fair Returns with Beach and Splash Pool

The Trafford Centre has confirmed the return of its Summer Fair, featuring a beach area and a splash pool with entry from £2.75 when booked online. The attraction, a hit with families during previous school holidays, will open on Saturday, July 18 and run daily from 12pm to 8pm until the end of August. Thousands of visitors are expected at what has become one of Greater Manchester's favourite school holiday attractions.

Entry and Ride Pricing

One entry fee of £2.75 (online) or £3.50 on the day grants access to the beach area and splash pool for unlimited time. Rides are paid for separately using tokens or wristbands purchased in advance. The fairground offers a host of rides suitable for children of all ages.

Cosmic Carnival and Free Shows

The centre promises its 'biggest programme of summer entertainment yet', including a new Cosmic Carnival Show. This free live performance takes over the Orient Main Stage area twice a week throughout August, every Wednesday and Thursday at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Families are invited to 'step into the magical world of the Out of Time Circus', featuring 'breathtaking aerial performances by larger-than-life characters and live vocals that transport them into the vibrant Cosmic Circus'. After each show, children can join free interactive workshops to learn dance routines and try circus-inspired skills.

Zero-Gravity Disco and Summer Passport

The Zero-Gravity Disco offers an energetic celebration with chart hits, dance routines, and audience participation. Families can also sign up for a free Summer Passport to explore more of the Trafford Centre, collecting stamps at venues such as NAMCO Funscape, Paradise Island Adventure Golf, Laser Quest, and ODEON. The passport includes exclusive dining offers from Pizza Express, YO! Sushi, Shake Shack, Hello Oriental, Blanchflower, and Chit & Chaat.

Emergency Services Day and School Uniform Drive

On Thursday, August 6, the annual Emergency Services Day runs from 10am to 4pm, giving families the chance to meet local emergency service teams, explore emergency vehicles, and learn about their role in keeping communities safe. Additionally, a School Uniform Drive runs from July 7 to August 17, in partnership with EMPOWER Youth Zones. Customers can donate new back-to-school essentials at the Guest Services Lounge on Lower Regent Crescent (next to M&S) to help thousands of young people across Manchester and Salford.

Simon Layton, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: "Summer is one of the most exciting times of year at Trafford Centre, and we're delighted to be bringing back a fantastic programme of family entertainment and experiences.
