The Foo Fighters are set to perform their first headline gig at Anfield Stadium on Thursday, June 25, as an amber weather warning comes into effect for Liverpool. The warning runs from midnight on Wednesday, June 24, until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, with temperatures expected to soar.
Stadium Safety Measures
Liverpool FC has issued advice for fans attending the concert to ensure their safety during the high temperatures. Tap water will be available free of charge throughout the stadium to help fans stay hydrated. Attendees are permitted to bring one sealed 500ml bottle of water into the venue. Additionally, free water will be available at bars and kiosks inside Anfield, and soft drinks and other refreshments can be purchased.
Sun Protection and Arrival Tips
Fans are advised not to arrive before doors open, as there is limited shade near the stadium. Sunscreen should be applied before heading to Anfield, and although sunscreen cannot be brought into the stadium, it will be provided at stations inside. For further information on staying safe in the sun, fans can consult the NHS website.
