Danniella Westbrook Embarks on Laser Surgery Journey for Skin Rejuvenation

Danniella Westbrook has publicly revealed she is undergoing laser surgery on her face, sharing a new video of the procedure. The 52-year-old TV personality disclosed she will have three sessions with an advanced CO₂ fractional laser to enhance her skin texture and address fine lines and scarring.

Clinic Procedure and Personalised Treatment Plan

In the video, Danniella was seen at The Essex Way Clinic wearing a hair net and goggles as she lay on a bed for the laser procedure. The clinic shared a photo with her, stating: 'Danniella has started her skin rejuvenation journey with our advanced CO₂ fractional laser treatment.' They explained this is a highly effective procedure designed to improve overall skin texture, stimulate collagen production, and target concerns such as fine lines, scarring, and uneven tone.

Following a full consultation and skin assessment, a personalised treatment plan was created, and she will undergo a course of three sessions to achieve optimal results. The clinic added: 'We’re looking forward to supporting her throughout her journey and sharing her progress along the way.' In the clip, the laser focused on her jawline and cheeks.

Background of Reconstructive Surgeries and Health Struggles

This latest procedure comes after Danniella recently underwent reconstructive surgery in Dubai at Gargash Hospital, which included a full face, neck, and brow lift, as well as lip and nose reconstruction. This surgery was a significant milestone for her, as she has struggled for years with a collapsed septum due to her previous cocaine addiction and osteoporosis.

In the past, Danniella has had various reconstructive operations to fix her 'collapsing' face. She estimated spending around £250,000 on cocaine, which contributed to her health issues. Last year, she revealed she was finally getting her face rebuilt, describing the surgery as 'very long.' In 2023, she admitted hating the results of a prior facial reconstruction, having waited seven years to find a surgeon willing to operate due to her septum condition.

Career Impact and Recent Developments

Danniella's health issues have affected her career. She was due to appear in the film Tales From The Trap but was recast amid health problems, including respiratory struggles that required medical attention. A source close to her said in December: 'Danniella was rushed into hospital on Friday with breathing difficulties which meant she had to pull out of filming... It's really disappointing.' She was replaced by Slow Horses star Kim Tiddy.

The TV personality found fame at age 16 in EastEnders, but her cocaine use led producers to terminate her contract, and she was written out of the soap in 1996. Reflecting on her addictions, she stated: 'I was always in clubs and everyone was doing coke and it was glamorous – except obviously, it wasn't at all. I was just very young, very stupid and very easily led.' She suggested there should be guidance for young actors on the risks of fame and drugs.

Danniella last appeared on TV in Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where she finished fifth. Despite setbacks, she continues to pursue treatments to improve her health and appearance, with this laser surgery marking another step in her ongoing journey.
