Dr Hilary explained that it's very common for people to visit their GP at this time of year reporting a change in their 'bowel habit'. He noted that the combination of richer festive foods, more alcohol, and altered routines can easily lead to bloating and constipation, especially as the celebrations continue over several weeks.
While his primary advice is always to try and prevent issues through moderation, he acknowledged that many are already seeking relief. For those individuals, he highlighted a specific over-the-counter supplement option.
The Recommended Remedy
