For many, the holiday season can heighten the sense of loss for departed family and friends. Travis Holp, a certified medium with nearly a million social media followers, knows this feeling well, but he also experiences a unique form of comfort: direct signs from the other side.
The Penny That Started It All
Holp's own journey with spiritual signs began after his grandmother passed away just after Christmas. Before her death, she would spot heads-up pennies and recite the old adage, 'Find a penny pick it up, and all the day you’ll have good luck.' Deer, known for their gentleness and sensitivity, reflect spirit's subtle way of nudging us. For one sceptical client, signs from her father escalated from deer in her garden to one pressing its head against her car window—an unmistakable confirmation she could not dismiss.

Holp's personal favourite signs involve numbers and timing. Repeating sequences like 1111 or 333, known as angel numbers, or personally significant digits act as 'loving winks' from beyond. They serve as reminders that we are on the right path and that our loved ones are near.
He describes a recent 'sign walk' in New York City, where, while thinking of his granny amidst holiday decorations, he noticed angel numbers on licence plates. Feeling a nudge to look down, he found a heads-up penny at his feet—a perfect, personal sign.
