Vick Hope & Calvin Harris Enjoy Barbados Getaway After Baby & New Wellness Role
Vick Hope & Calvin Harris on Barbados holiday with baby news

TV and radio presenter Vick Hope and her superstar DJ husband Calvin Harris have been spotted enjoying a sun-drenched family getaway in Barbados, just months after welcoming their first child. The couple, who tied the knot in 2023, looked relaxed and loved-up as they made the most of the Caribbean winter sun.

Postpartum Confidence and Family Time

The 36-year-old presenter, who gave birth to son Micah in July, confidently showed off her postpartum figure in a stylish green striped bikini. Embracing a natural look, Vick went makeup-free for their beach day, wearing her dark curly hair in a practical braid and accessorising with simple silver jewellery.

Her husband, Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris, showcased his muscular physique, going shirtless in a pair of floral swimming shorts. The pair, who split their time between a large organic farm in Ibiza and an estate in the Cotswolds, were not pictured with their infant son during the beach outing. However, it is believed Micah was with them on the holiday, following their first festive season as a family of three celebrated at home in the UK.

The couple appeared in high spirits, sharing relaxed moments on the sand and taking a refreshing dip in the sea to escape the Caribbean heat. Vick looked particularly radiant strolling along the beach, glowing with confidence months after giving birth.

Calvin Harris Swaps Decks for the Boardroom

The holiday comes fresh on the heels of a significant career announcement for Calvin. The Dumfries-born star, whose real name is Adam Wiles, is set to swap his decks for a boardroom desk after taking on an executive role at a fast-growing tech firm.

He has been unveiled as the new Chief Wellness Officer at the healthcare brand Healf. The company, founded in 2020 by Manchester-born brothers Max Clarke and Lestat McCree, is an online destination for curated wellbeing products and now serves over 550,000 regular customers with annual revenues surpassing £100 million.

In his new role, Calvin will help shape Healf's "wellbeing philosophy, product curation and cultural presence." Speaking about the appointment, he said: "As an artist I find inspiration in different things... I have to take care of my mind and body to do that. Healf gets that. They're not trying to tell you how to live; they're helping you find what works for you."

He will star in a new advertising campaign for the brand alongside supermodel and investor Claudia Schiffer, who is the brand's ambassador for 'Women's Health & Longevity'.

A First Christmas as Three

Prior to their tropical escape, the couple celebrated a meaningful festive period at home, marking their first Christmas with baby Micah. Vick shared a series of rare and intimate family photos on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into their new life as parents.

The carousel of images included:

  • Sweet snaps of five-month-old Micah in a "my first Christmas" onesie.
  • Photos of Vick in matching pyjamas with her son resting on her chest.
  • Tender moments of Calvin at the dinner table with his baby boy.
  • Pictures of Micah wearing matching Christmas pyjamas with his grandmother, Adeline Nowosu.

The couple announced the arrival of Micah in August, following a home water birth at their Ibiza property on the 20th of July. Calvin shared the news on social media alongside candid photos from the birth, calling his wife a "superhero" and expressing his awe at her "primal wisdom."

This family-focused period aligns with Calvin's previous comments about potentially stepping back from the intense world of DJing. One of the world's highest-earning DJs, who sold his back catalogue for a reported £76 million in 2020, has said he plans to stop DJing within the next decade, preferring to focus on studio work.

For now, the family is enjoying a well-deserved break in Barbados, blending relaxation with this exciting new chapter in Calvin's career in the wellness industry.
