UAE Reopens Airspace After Iran Attack as Tensions Escalate

The United Arab Emirates has reopened its airspace after a temporary closure on Tuesday amid Iranian missile and drone attacks. The General Civil Aviation Authority announced the measure as an exceptional precaution to ensure flight safety, following the UAE's defence ministry confirming that air defences were responding to incoming projectiles.

An unknown projectile struck a tanker 23 nautical miles east of Fujairah, causing minor structural damage, the UK Maritime Trade Operations agency reported. No injuries or environmental impact were recorded.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military launched simultaneous waves of extensive strikes on Tehran and Beirut, targeting Iranian regime infrastructure and Hezbollah positions. The attacks came as the US embassy in Baghdad faced its most intense assault yet, with drones and rockets hitting the compound.
