Love Island bosses have introduced another twist, with the arrival of two new islanders, one of whom is the brother of a current contestant. Kavan, a 21-year-old electrician, is the younger brother of property broker Aidan, 23. Kavan has already made an impression on Ellie, the same girl his brother was previously coupled up with.
Ellie was left stunned when Kavan revealed their connection during a date, gasping and saying "f*** off." The twist has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some viewers questioning the show's creativity. One user wrote: "Bringing in a brother Love Island are you mad?!" while another commented: "Love Island are seriously running out of ideas LOOOOL tf you mean Aidan’s BROTHER?"
Meanwhile, Aidan has been growing closer to Yasmin, who recently dumped Ellie. In the Snug, Yasmin apologised for putting Aidan in a "sh*t situation," but he comforted her, saying he was just shocked. The pair later shared a kiss on the terrace, with Aidan calling Yasmin's decision to end things with Ellie "sexy."
Despite their early exit, Ellie and Samraj received a twist of their own. A text informed them their journey was not over, and they were taken to The Hideaway instead of the airport. Samraj joked: "I didn’t think I’d be spending my first night in the Hideaway with you Ellie, as much as I love you!"
