Two Men Convicted Over Antisemitic TikTok Videos in Stamford Hill

Two men have been convicted of religiously aggravated harassment after filming antisemitic TikTok videos in north London. Adam Bedoui, 20, and Abdelkadir Amir Bousloub, 21, both from West Drayton, Hillingdon, pleaded guilty to the offence at Thames Magistrates Court on Saturday.

The incident occurred on Clapton Common at about 9pm on Thursday, when a group of men allegedly harassed members of the Jewish community. Police arrested five men in Hackney, with Bedoui and Bousloub charged under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and the Public Order Act 1986.

Detective Superintendent Oliver Richter, who leads policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, described it as a “deliberate and targeted antisemitic attack, aggravated by the pair’s intention to post the incident on social media to spread hatred.” He added that the swift arrests and convictions should send a clear message that hate crime will not be tolerated.

Three other men arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further inquiries. The arrests come after the Metropolitan Police allocated 100 officers to a new community protection team focused on protecting Jewish communities, following a series of recent attacks including the stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green.
