UFC chief Dana White has encountered many high-profile figures, whether cageside at his mixed martial arts events or at glamorous Hollywood parties, but not all of them have been pleasant. In fact, the prominent businessman has openly disclosed the rudest celebrity he has ever met, and for many, the revelation may not come as a significant surprise.
Dana White's Revelation on 'The Katie Miller' Podcast
Speaking on 'The Katie Miller' podcast this week, White, aged 56, identified disgraced hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs as the most discourteous celebrity he has encountered, sharing a specific anecdote to support his claim.
'Oh, Diddy... 100 percent the biggest douchebag ever,' White stated when asked to name the worst celebrity he has crossed paths with in his life. He elaborated, 'Tony Hawk used to have these charity events, and when my kids were little, you would go to these charity events and many celebrities would be there. So everybody would do things for each other's kids.'
The Incident at a Tony Hawk Charity Event
White recounted taking his niece to one of Hawk's parties, where she became star-struck upon seeing Combs, who was one of her idols at the time. Encouraged by White, she approached Combs for a photograph but quickly returned, visibly shaken by the encounter.
'The guy is there with 10 security guards, right?' White added. 'You need security at a kids event?' He continued, 'And then they were rude to her and scared her. That is who is listening to your music, okay? That is who is listening to this, okay? Are you kidding me? And that is how you treat a girl who is a fan and wanted a picture with you?'
Conor McGregor's Similar Experience
The UFC boss further noted that one of his most iconic fighters, Conor McGregor, had previously met Combs and was similarly unimpressed by his friendliness. According to White, the Irishman 'wanted to punch him in the face.'
Combs, aged 56, is currently serving a four-year prison sentence at a federal jail in New Jersey, following his conviction in October on charges of transporting individuals for prostitution. He faced a potentially longer sentence but was acquitted by a Manhattan jury of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges at the conclusion of a highly publicized two-month trial. Combs is expected to be released in April 2028.
