In a recent episode of 'Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales', the young businessman's girlfriend Jessica Ellwood shared her feelings about their relationship and his well-known family. The 21-year-old farmer, who met Reuben at a young farmers' convention, described their instant connection, attributing it to their shared farming backgrounds.
Speaking directly to the camera, Jessica expressed her affection for Reuben and his family, saying, 'I just love him to bits. Love his family, get on great with them.' The couple have been together for around eight months and frequently work together on various projects.
Reuben, who rose to fame on 'Our Yorkshire Farm', also praised Jessica's skills, noting she is 'absolutely brilliant on any piece of kit'. He added playfully, 'I haven't found anything that's beaten her, yet!'
The episode also featured Reuben beginning the renovation of his Thwaite cottage, a joint investment with his father Clive. However, due to his expanding business, plans for the cottage have been put on hold, and Reuben intends to sell it to fund a different property.
