Patrick Dorgu Channels Patrice Evra After Stunning Goal in Man Utd's Arsenal Victory

Manchester United's Patrick Dorgu scored a sensational long-range goal in Sunday's 3-2 win at Arsenal, drawing comparisons to club legend Patrice Evra's iconic strike against Bayern Munich in 2014. The 21-year-old Dane's effort put United ahead early in the second half after Lisandro Martinez's own goal and Bryan Mbeumo's equaliser had left the score at 1-1.

Evra reacted on X, posting a video of Dorgu's goal with the caption: 'What are you doing to me bro!!' Dorgu replied: 'Learned from the best. I've seen your goal against Bayern.' The goal was Dorgu's second in as many matches, having also netted in United's 2-0 win over Manchester City.

However, Dorgu was substituted late in the game after appearing to clutch his hamstring following a sprint with Ben White. Manager Michael Carrick downplayed concerns, saying: 'He came off with hopefully a little bit of cramp, hopefully it's nothing worse.' Carrick added: 'At this stage it's hard to tell. We'll just have to wait and see.'
