Billie Eilish Brands Elon Musk 'Pathetic Coward' Over Wealth
Billie Eilish calls Elon Musk a 'pathetic coward'

Pop Star Condemns World's Richest Man

Billie Eilish has unleashed a furious tirade against Elon Musk, labelling the world's richest man a "f***ing pathetic pussy b*** coward" for his approach to wealth distribution. The 23-year-old music sensation made the explosive comments on her Instagram Story, directly targeting Musk as he approaches becoming the world's first trillionaire.

The Instagram Outburst

Eilish reshared a graphic from activist group My Voice, My Choice that detailed how Musk could utilise his fortune for humanitarian purposes. The analysis suggested he could end world hunger by 2030 with an annual investment of $40 billion or save all 10,443 critically endangered species with yearly payments of $1-2 billion. Instead of mincing words, the "Birds of a Feather" singer delivered her verdict in brutally frank terms, accusing Musk of hoarding his wealth rather than addressing these pressing global issues.

Consistent Criticism of Billionaires

This isn't the first time Eilish has used her platform to challenge extreme wealth inequality. Late last month at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards, she directly addressed billionaires in the audience, including Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg. "We're in a time right now where the world feels really dark, and people need empathy and help more than ever," she told the star-studded crowd on October 29. "If you have money, it'd be great to use it for good - maybe give some to people who need it."

The pop star, whose net worth was estimated at $53 million by Forbes in 2020, put her money where her mouth is by announcing she would be donating $11.5 million from her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to charities tackling climate change and food insecurity.

Musk's Trillion-Dollar Payday

The timing of Eilish's comments coincides with significant financial developments for Musk. Tesla shareholders recently approved an unprecedented trillion-dollar pay package for their CEO, a move backed by 75% of voters that essentially paves his way to becoming the world's first trillionaire. The decision came after Musk had threatened to leave the company if the compensation package wasn't approved.

Musk first claimed the title of world's richest person in 2021 when he surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Although he's been occasionally knocked from the top spot since then - most recently by Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison - he currently maintains his position as the planet's wealthiest individual while facing increasing scrutiny about how that wealth should be deployed.
