Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled a series of exclusive, invite-only sailings as replacements for 11 voyages that were controversially cancelled last month. The new itineraries are part of the company's Sailings Exclusively for Adults (SEA) programme, targeting select passengers through loyalty schemes or casino credits.
Replacement Sailings Announced
Following the cancellation of 11 voyages scheduled aboard Carnival Firenze for October and November 2026, Carnival Cruise Line has introduced four new sailings. These will depart from Long Beach between 12 October and 20 November 2026. The cancellations were attributed to changes in itinerary plans, with affected guests offered rebooking options or refunds.
Exclusive Access for Adults
The SEA programme, first launched in August and September 2025, is designed for guests aged 21 and over. It offers discounts on adult-only sailings in the Caribbean, featuring Mexican Riviera destinations. A spokesperson for Carnival Cruise Line stated, "These sailings are part of our SEA program and will be available only to guests who receive a targeted offer."
The programme emphasises tailored experiences, with Carnival describing the sailings as having "every detail tailored to people who love big wins, big fun, and a splash of indulgence." It includes exciting itineraries, increased casino access, themed parties, and unique onboard activities.
Onboard Features of Carnival Firenze
Carnival Firenze, with a capacity for 4,161 guests, showcases Italian-inspired design. Passengers embark through Piazza Duomo, inspired by Florence's cathedral, and can enjoy Italian cuisine at restaurants like Michelangelo and Medici, as well as street food at La Strada Grill. For adventure, the ship offers waterslides, a high ropes course, and a sundeck for relaxation.
The SEA cruises aim to provide an unforgettable experience, with Carnival adding, "Whether you're here to unwind, indulge, or roll the dice on something unforgettable, SEA Cruises are your chance to sail like never before." This move highlights the company's strategy to cater to niche markets while addressing previous cancellations.
