Fans of the globally adored cartoon dog Bluey are in for a thrilling treat as the world's inaugural rollercoaster themed around the animated character prepares to open its doors this weekend. Alton Towers Resort has officially unveiled a comprehensive first look at its newest attraction, Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies!, ahead of its grand debut in CBeebies Land. This groundbreaking ride marks a historic first of its kind globally, promising an immersive experience for eager enthusiasts.
Sneak Peek Revealed Through Drone Footage
The Derbyshire-based theme park has released exclusive drone footage, offering a tantalising glimpse inside Bluey's family home and the playful twists and turns of the track. The footage captures the Grannies' Car as it departs from the ride station, showcasing the mischievous driving antics of Janet and Rita, characters from a fan-favourite episode. Designed specifically for pre-schoolers and young families, the ride navigates through Bluey's backyard, encapsulating the boundless energy that defines the show.
Expanding Bluey Experiences at the Resort
This new junior coaster joins an array of existing Bluey-themed activities at Alton Towers Resort, including popular meet-and-greet sessions with Mum (Chilli), Dad (Bandit), Bluey, and Bingo, as well as live performances in Big Fun Showtime. Additionally, the resort has announced plans to introduce more Bluey-themed hotel rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel, further enhancing the immersive experience for visitors.
