Jet2 Announces Major Summer 2026 Expansion to Greece
Jet2 has confirmed a significant enhancement to its summer 2026 holiday offerings, with almost 30,000 extra seats now available for flights to Greece. This expansion solidifies the airline's position as the largest operator from the UK to Greece for the upcoming summer season.
Details of the Additional Services
The additional flights will operate from July to September 2026, departing from four key UK airports: Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, and London Stansted. Destinations include Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Kos, and Santorini. Notably, routes to Santorini from Birmingham and Kos from Leeds Bradford are exclusive to Jet2, providing unique travel options for holidaymakers.
Specific flight schedules are as follows:
- Birmingham Airport: Extra weekly Wednesday services to Crete (Chania) from July 1 to September 23, 2026, and additional Thursday services to Santorini from July 2 to September 24, 2026.
- Leeds Bradford Airport: Additional Saturday services to Kos from July 4 to September 26, 2026.
- London Stansted Airport: Extra weekly Sunday services to Crete (Chania) from July 19 to September 27, 2026.
- Manchester Airport: Additional Wednesday and Friday services to Crete (Heraklion) from July 1 to September 25, 2026, offering two daily flights on these days during the period.

Overall, Jet2 reports that more than 3.5 million seats are on sale for summer 2026, covering 131 routes, including 25 new ones. This expansion is part of Jet2's commitment to meeting the high demand for Greek holidays, with customers able to choose from leisure flights via Jet2.com or ATOL-protected package holidays through Jet2holidays.
