Lapland UK Launches Ticket Sales for Christmas 2026 Season

While Christmas may seem distant, the festive season is already kicking off with Lapland UK announcing that tickets for its 2026 magical experiences go on sale today, March 27. Based on previous years, demand is expected to be extremely high, with potential sell-outs anticipated quickly.

Ticket Details and Booking Process

Tickets for Lapland UK, which operates venues in Ascot and Cheshire, will be available from 10 AM tomorrow. Over a million people are projected to join the virtual queue, likened to the frenzy of securing Glastonbury tickets. Hopeful attendees must wait in this queue and will have only ten minutes to finalise their orders once they reach the front.

Pricing for the 2026 season has been confirmed, starting at £60 per person for midweek dates in November and rising to £155 for peak weekends in December. Both locations will also feature a Superstar Day on November 25, specifically designed for families and guests with access needs to offer a quieter, more relaxed, and accessible environment.

Immersive Experience and New Updates

Despite the higher cost, tickets encompass a range of unique experiences that distinguish Lapland UK from typical Santa grottos. Families receive a special gift-boxed invitation beforehand to build excitement, featuring a personal message from Father Christmas inviting children to assist elves with toy-making.

Upon arrival, visitors enter a magical world through interactive zones like the Elven Bazaar, where they solve puzzles to access Lapland, and the Lapland Bakery, where kids can bake Christmas treats and enjoy storytime with Mother Christmas. The experience lasts approximately four-and-a-half hours and includes ice skating, a soft toy for each child, a small toy for Christmas Day, and a visit with Father Christmas in a snowy forest.

Enhancements for the 2026 Season

Founders Mike and Alison Battle shared on Facebook that they are introducing several updates to make the 2026 experience more special and magical. Invitations will be sent earlier, towards the end of summer, to heighten anticipation. The return experience will be upgraded to ensure coming home will be just as magical, and visitors to Little Rudy's Stables can now make reindeer food to take home.

A major change involves the expanded Elven Village, which has grown over the years to be more immersive with additional characters. Guests will enjoy more time in the village to listen to stories at Fable's Library, skate on the ice rink, and meet various characters along the way.

How to Secure Tickets

Those interested in tickets can register on the official Lapland UK website to receive a booking link ahead of the sale or visit the site from 9 AM to join the queue. Lapland UK's Facebook page confirmed that both venues will have separate booking queues accessed via unique links. Upon entering, individuals are randomly assigned a place before bookings open at 10 AM, gradually moving forward in the queue. Once at the front, they have ten minutes to complete their booking for their chosen location.

The attraction aims to create treasured memories for families this Christmas, with founders expressing excitement to welcome visitors to Lapland.
