Royal Caribbean's Bahamas Beach Club: What to Expect at Paradise Island
Royal Caribbean Bahamas Beach Club: What to Expect

Royal Caribbean's exclusive private beach club in the Bahamas is now officially open, providing cruise passengers with a unique and luxurious destination during their Caribbean voyages. As the ship sails into the port of Nassau, guests are greeted by the iconic crown and anchor logo, marking the start of an unforgettable experience.

An Exclusive Retreat on Paradise Island

Located just a five-minute ferry ride from Nassau on Paradise Island, close to the renowned Atlantis hotel, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island has transformed previously derelict land into a vibrant new hotspot. Thousands of passengers on Royal Caribbean's daily Caribbean cruises can now enjoy this private 17-acre stretch of beach, reserved solely for the cruise line's guests.

Access and Transportation

The beach club is accessible only by five colourful ferries, each named with playful themes like "Flirty Flamingo" and "Twisted Turtle." These vessels, proudly flying the Bahamian flag and Royal Caribbean logo, can carry up to 241 passengers each, ensuring ample space for transport to and from two docks that provide access to three distinct private areas on the beach.

Experiences and Amenities

Guests can choose from a variety of experiences across three neighbourhoods: Family Beach, with pools and beach games; Chill Beach, featuring The Deep End cocktail bar; and Party Cove, home to the world's largest swim-up bar, The Floating Flamingo. For those seeking extra luxury, cabanas are available, including a two-level family option with a private whirlpool, slide, and premium service.

Local Culture and Dining

The beach club incorporates Bahamian culture through local artists and performers, with 11 artists curating pieces across 25 locations, including large flamingo sculptures. Dining options include Bahamian delights like guava duff, and guests can enjoy seven beach bars and three poolside bars, with capacity for up to 4,000 people.

Pricing and Passes

Unlike some of Royal Caribbean's other private islands, such as CocoCay, access to Royal Beach Club Paradise Island requires a purchased day pass. Options include an unlimited open bar pass for adults over 21, a non-alcoholic drinks pass with dining and wifi, and cabana rentals. Prices start from £64.50 per adult and £49.02 per child, with family cabanas from £3,317.40, varying by sailing and season.

This new addition is part of Royal Caribbean's strategy to enhance holiday experiences, following other private destinations like CocoCay and a planned launch in Mexico in 2027. It offers passengers an exclusive alternative to exploring Nassau's old town, with its rum bars and straw markets, or a combined visit for a full Bahamian adventure.
